    Old Drum's statue stands on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn, a reminder of the days of limited government and the proper use of the courts to seek redress of grievances. It also reminds us of the prominent role of Johnson County leaders in the effort to restore Constitutional government in Missouri in the 1870s.
